Fish Bowl Buddy

Simple fish bowl app. 

This app was originally designed to be an interactive desk ornament, so at its core it's a clock with an interactive fish.  

Feed your fish to get coins once per day, use coins to buy clothing, tank decorations and backgrounds!

Used Screaming Brains Studios noise texture pack for shader effects. You can find it below

8/10/2025 First release Alpha 0.1.0

-   Gamer includes a fish you can feed. 

-  the fish has a system for following where you tap the screen, following food      pellets,and swimming wherever it wants.

- clothing system that lets you dress up your fish 

9/7/2025 Update to version Alpha 0.2.0 

- added shop system and a system for rotating the shop every so often                                        this also includes adding a system to gain currency. The first time you feed your               fish each day earns you one coin. each shop item is currently one coin

- added feature to let players mod in their own art assets for clothing. 

10/15/20 Update to version Alpha 0.3.0

- added a decoration system which lets you choose decorations for each of your

4 decoration slots and place the decoration anywhere on the floor of the tank

-added a background system to allow user to change background of the tank

- added basic background music

- added tapping animation in the location of wherever your last screen tap was to show the player exactly where they tapped.

- added basic lighting

- added basic day/night cycle that automatically turns the light on at 5 and slightly darkens screen, and turns it off the next day

 - added a glove sprite that tracks where your hand is to show you where you will drop the food pellet.

- updated food pellet art

- fixed bug where attaching clothes to your fish did not always work

11/14/2025 Update to Version Beta 1.2.0

- added shaders for water effect

- added several decorator assets, now I have 50 assets including outfits, backgrounds, and decorations for the player to mix and match to customize their fish and the tank

- completely over-hauled the UI

- added an options menu

- made look nicer, added a toggle to swap between the large clock and the small one

- added the ability to turn off music

- added visually reactive buttons to the whole menu system

- added feature to put the decorations in default places when run on mobile to make decorating work properly.
